PUNE INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL [PIFF]
What is PIFF ?
– The Pune International Film Festival was launched in 2002, with an idea of attracting the best in celluloid to Pune.
– The first “Pune International Film Festival” received a response brimming with success. Slowly, event by event, PIFF has evolved into a major annual event.
– The aim was to attract the best in celluloid to the city, a task that it has achieved and how, over the last 13 years.
– Today PIFF is an important date on the calendar for film buffs, film makers and all from the film fraternity not only across Pune or India, but the globe.

Promoting the event in a unique way which includes an element of surprise and curiosity is what pre event promotions do.
Designed a few concepts for a photo booth set up at the theatres where the PIFF movies will be screened.
Promotional posters including the movie information and to put them on social media as reminders.
Translating the look and feel of the theme into space, both at the theatres and the main event was the challenging part.
Using neon coloured film strips at the aisle inside the theatre screens.
The identity is divided in to parts on the stage, which is only visible while the viewer is seated to maintain a surprise element.
Making the viewer feel a part of the space was done by covering the chair with the film strip and the identity of the event.
Post event take backs are a very important part in creating a memorable event.
As a take back for cinemas, creating a thumbs up wall showing the likes by the viewer for the movie.
Designing momento related to the movie and the event as a take back for viewer.
